Melting Snow Doubles the Flow of the Çoruh River in Bayburt

The melting snow from the higher elevations has caused the flow of the Çoruh River, which passes directly through the city, to double in volume. The water levels have visibly risen, reaching just below the Meydan Bridge, demonstrating the powerful effect of seasonal changes on the region's hydrology.
